I had a GMC Envoy t-bone me going 60mph while I was making a turn in my Ford Focus. Needless to say, it didn't end well for my car. Going through insurance sucked, but (for us) there really was no option.
The rough part is, that since it was deemed a no-fault accident for both parties, it was a game of who could file civil suit charges first. No fun. Be happy that you can easily get on with your life and not have to deal with insurance or court issues.
