Just saw it, and I friggin loved it. Casting was amazing all the way around. And I loved the action... you really felt that he was melting in and out of the shadows.
Anyone know how many (if any) sequels Bale/Nolan are attached to? I really hope this isn't the only film we'll see from this crew.

meh, so what if it's not a cinematic masterpiece. Does it have to be? This was an above average movie that happens to be a fantastic rendition of a character we love. So sue us for being excited.
I was debating about something with a friend of mine. The part where Bruce goes back to Gotham for the trial of his parents' murderer, was that a flashback? Or did he take a break from his training to go the trial? I thought it was a flashback, and that he began his life as a thief and his training right after that. I could just be assuming that Nolan likes to fuck with timelines though.
