I like it but not as much as I like other material I've heard from them. Woman King is the first thing I've purchased by them but I've heard other stuff on soundtracks and what not so I'm looking into buying some more.
Woman King I enjoy when listening but have to be in a certain mood to enjoy fully. They're great musicians and make great music but I didn't immediately connect with any of the songs like I've done with other songs of theirs I've heard. You know just as soon as I hear it I'm like "Oh I really like that!" However when I purchased it I had also just gotten other albums from other artists.
You know how that can be. I haven't really taken the time to sit down and absorb it. For all I know if I did it would really grow on me. I'll be sure and do that now and see. If my opinion changes any I'll let you know.
