Not really, no.
I've explained it all before; "pain" caused by a punch in the head (which doesn't start with "J") doesn't stop Joker from being narcissistic. You don't see modern hospitals use pain to cure narcissism do ya? 
I'd accept either torture or a shrink but as neither of those start with J he can't use them as a counterattack.
It seems that we can't come to an agreement on this issue so I guess we have to stop the battle.
