A tool can be abused.
The word has a broader meaning than just serious child, drug, etc., abuse.
However, I just Googled on the word 'abuse'.
In it's contemporary useage, it does seem too strong a word to use.
I'm not a good writer. I do my best to be understood using the words that come to mind. Sorry if I made you feel bad.
Most people in this thread are relating to the 'pretty' result of piercing.
I don't see that. I see punchered (sp?) skin.
