i have to pick a single restaurant? next thing you'll ask for is a single cuisine...
*sigh* sometimes living in NYC is not easy 
edit: okay... I guess there's a small Thai restaurant that I used to go to in North Hollywood, CA called Swasdee right across from the Thai Temple.
