Got it to work. I had to step away from looking at your instructions b/c i was over analyzing it...i actually created a Macros and made the condition where:
[Forms]![Statemententry]![txtID]=[Statement_Entry]![Unique ID].
Then I assigned the Macros to the the 'preview report button'
