I'll say first that I'm a Padre fan and must admit the division is flat. Any of the top 3 teams can win this division, yet you could argue against all three. I think people overlook the Padres defense up the middle and one of the better bullpens around. If Jake Peavy takes the big step this year, the Padres will take the division. Of course, whoever wins this division gets bounced in the 1st round.
