The DBacks were by no means a group of green players. They had some young guys but they were closer to the Yankees in terms of age than the Marlins. They were one of the oldest teams to win it all.
The age of the Yankee players doesn't mean that they can't win it. I think they will. It just means that there are a lot of guys who could get injured or start a rapid decline.
