I recommend Neutrogena's sunless tanner. Back in 2001, my brother tested about 5 brands for me to choose the best one for me to use to fix my sports bra tan in time for prom. (What a guy He had an orange stripey leg when he finished.) Neutrogena was the least orange and just about as easy to use as most of the other kinds. You just have to make sure to blend it in well and not miss any spots... and wash your hands when you finish!
