ok, makes sense, that's what I thought. like 2ch, sort of.
I'm just not used to it after countless hours spent on boards that put a lot of emphasis on it and where people talk about their and others' count a lot. I've never really had a huge problem with it -- I fully admit to having gotten caught up in it myself, and personally I find it interesting to see peoples' counts when reading their posts -- but I could see the interest in creating a community without it.
