Just curious, your upstair neighbour doesn't have a fully functional toilet by any chance?

I think some neighbours in apartment buildings and townhouses don't have a lot of common sense. They don't know that between the hours 11 pm and 7 am, one should try to keep the noise as minimal as possible because their more intelligent neighbours need that precious time to get some much needed sleep.

Living in apartment-type residence sucks.
