That article is silly. I could go to gamefaqs and find just as many quotes about people who can't wait to play with a black main character. Also can you really take someone who quotes stuff like "me cancels preorder" seriously?
As for the original question, no it doesn't matter to me at all. My only problem with the newest GTA was the amount of swearing. To me it was a bit to excessive, on the verge of comical really.
