Well, I've figured out that the problem is not specific to Front Page Express, nor is it operator error.
I tried the same files on my computer at work, and they linked just fine. So it seems that there's something about my home computer that is not following the links - or maybe it's my home browser? I'm using IE 6 at both locations, though.
Again - any help is appreciated. I suppose as a last resort I could stay late at work and prepare my portfolio.
Many thanks to those who have offered help so far.
Edit later: I went ahead and created all the pages at home. I will check tomorrow to see if the CD works on my work computer. When I tried at home, most linked, but some didn't - and some worked sometimes but not other times. The page I'm having the most problems with is the original - the resume page. It was originally created 6 years ago - could this be a factor in why it won't link?
Edited even later: Well, they all work except the critical one - the resume page, and also, for some reason, I can't get a certain background gif file to come in on the other pages. Other than these two things, it works just fine. It looks like I'll just create a new resume.htm page and retype it all (I've already tried copy & paste - it gets the same result), and choose a new background for the rest. I'd still like to know why it doesn't work, though . . . . frustrating.
BTW - I already got a job offer, so maybe this is all unnecessary.
