Could you post the HTML code you're using for the links, that might help us to fix your problem.
Are you trying to link the the full address of the page? like c:\docume~1\alluse~1.....index2.html, or just to the directory/subdirectory? if you are using the full address, try just using the directory like < a href="index2.htm">Index2< /a> or < a href="/doc/bin/index2.htm">Index2< /a>

Are you just using the wysiwyg editor or are you looking at the source code too and making sure it doesn't say some off the wall stuff in it like \\mshome\john\bin\index2.html or whatever
