I remember seeing Cube on Sci Fi channel and insisted on recording it and showing it to my friends.
I'd have to nominate Dead or Alive, the Japanese gangster film. After the last ten minutes of the film, the theater just sat there for a second, stunned silent.
Also, Battle Royale. That's just a weird film and weird premise.
