I have to agree with Gak. My first impression from your post was quite negative. Equivalent to something like "Hey, that's cool for you man, but me? No way, I'm not gay." I got the impression that "gay" was behind your reaction based on your comment about "dropping the soap." Each time you said "Hey that's cool." you followed it with a backhanded negative comment, being her b*tch, etc.
Just an observation.
