I met Robert DeNero, Robert Duvall, Al Pachino, Francis Ford Coppela, and a bunch of other stars when they were filming The Godfather part II. They stayed at the hotel my family had a cabana membership with. My sisters and I got parts as extras in the movie as well as a bunch of our friends. I was only 12 at the time but remember it well. Not too many people get to say they played in a pool with Al Pachino
All of them were very nice (they were there for 6 weeks).
I also took Crispin Glover 4x4ing when he came up here. He's a really good shit. (long story that I'm not going into).
A few years ago while skiing up at Whistler I had my lunch across the table from Tom Brokaw (the tables are a cafeteria type setting). He asked me a few questions about the mountain and the local scene. My girlfriend had no idea who he was until I showed him reading the news a week or so later. (this was during the Clinton - Yeltsin summit in Vancouver)
