Here is the interesting observation:
Three years is an awfully long time.
A doomed project ate their lunch and
their market share plummeted.
But this only affects a small part of the project,
Cleaning them up, may be doggone ugly as
they might have shot themselves.
Frankly, this is the kind of thing you solve
when optimizing for speed.
It's important to remember that when you
start from scratch some adult supervision
is a dangerous folly.
