Me too! How amazing would that have been.  Our professor gave us a little 4'33'' experience today actually. While we were all still settling in for class he went and sat at the piano, it was probably a good minute before we all realized he was still sitting there being very quiet, and then we all just gradally caught on to what he was doing. It was interesting how the whole class gradually got quieter, some people were totally at ease and others were agitated and didn't know what to do, even though they were aware of the piece already. I can only imagine what the reactions would have been like the very first time it was done.
