acoustic guitar?
lots of country blues...i really like robert johnson. sometimes rev. gary davis, though my tolerances have reduced over time. chalrey patton too. there are other, but my mind is for the moment blank.

the first pat metheny album (maybe--not sure: bright size life)--i dont like metheney's music for the most part. a great player charting a wide path into wimpdom.

ani difranco's guitar playing is quite interesting. she writes good pop hooks. when her pieces turn up on my itunes, i do not skip them. usually.

a friend just passed me animal collective's "sung tongs"
i quite like the overall sound and how the acoustic guitars are knit into it. a cool record.
also, the title is almost my dog's name.
i am still trying to figure out is i like devendra banhardt or not.
