I enjoy dancing. Growing up in Miami where not knowing how to dance amongst a population of males who where taught to dance from birth may have something to do with it. You simply cannot be of any gender in Miami and not dance. Every family get together is one large excuse to put on salsa and dance with every aunt and uncle you never knew.
That being said, I once was of the opinion I could not dance. My Fiance fixed that quick.
I believe I said "I'm a white guy, I can't dance."
To which she replied "And I'm Honduran and you'll learn to dance if where going to keep dating."
That was 4 years ago. Now I dance at every bar and club I encounter. I grew up with mostly latin freinds, and all my guy freinds go dancing every friday and Sat on South Beach. Drink a little, dance with a nice young lady or 10, laugh, be merry.
If I wanted to get drunk, I'd do it at home for a lot cheaper.
I lived in the Yankee bastation of Providence for a while, and went dancing with a young cuban guy from my school. In a place where the guys line up at the bar while their girlfreinds dance, I got a good laugh at how girls would dance close to me, get frustrated at me, then just turn around and dance with me. Sometimes girls would walk up to me, pull up my sleeve to see if I was 21, then dance with me. That was just hilarious in my mind.
I remember one young woman who though I should go home with her because "Thank god, a guy who's confident enough to dance." She wasn't happy to find out I was taken. For some reason she thought I was a tease for being straight and dancing while taken.
I somehow suspect I've typed this for the sexuality forum before, but maybe that was V3.
Anyway, learn how to dance if your male, and remember that it's actually okay to just go up and start dancing with a young woman dancing. Don't cut her freinds off, just dance next to her and see if she's interested. that means actually making and maintaing eye contact with her, not the ground. Most young woman are happy to encounter a guy who enjoys dancing.
And for the love of god, don't just try and rub your crotch on them. Unless you like being kicked in the nuts of course. Becuase your just saying "Please assault me for being a perv towards you."
Booty dancing is great, but learn how to control and move your hips without moving your upper body before you try. Same for any latin dancing.
Not possible you say? Bullshit, I do it every weekend, as does every latin male in the world.
Now stop wondering why latin guys have the reputation they do and read between my lines already.
