Do remember that many people that read this board love Everquest, Everquest 2, and World of Warcraft. It's hard to take anyone's word that enjoys sitting in exp grinding groups for 20 hours straight or that joins a guild so that they can improve their gear in 6 months if they play 100+ hours a week.
Amen!

Just because Some of us may play World of Warcraft or another MMORPG (which I think ARE fun) doesn't mean we do it for 20hours straight. =P WoW especially is one of the exceptions, where you dont have to play that long to progress. (I work 9-5 and usually get home anywhere between 8-11 and I am moving along fine)
Btw Halo/Halo 2 are definitely great games. It seems like some people dont give them enough of a chance... and if you are complaining about the controls I dont think you've played it enough. I love FPS's on PC's as well, but you feel so much more connected with whats going on when the controls seem like normal body functions. Get headshots with a sensitivity of 8 or 9 in halo 1 (would not recommend that in halo 2) and then say its a sucky game. playing single player for 3 hours is not going to let you really experience Halo. (at least play co-op if not Online). You should play games through and experience all aspects before you judge it too harshly . Btw this is not a flame in any way.. its just that I really want to hear what you guys and gals think are the most over-rated games out there... but you need to PLAY the game before I take stock in your opinion about it.
thanks
oh, and the over-rated thing... I'll agree with FF7
