To my mind, there is no satisfactory explanation for the increasing compexification of systems at this time - at least one that is able to overcome the power of the second law of thermodynamics. Hence, there is ample room to speculate that there is a powerful anti-entropic principle at work in the universe. One in which the brute power of heat-death is held in check by a tendency to produce living, thinking beings. I look forward to continued experimental work in this area, don't you?
