I'm with you, Jim. I've given up predicting that anyone other than Atlanta will win the NL East. Shuerholtz, Cox and Mazzone are just that darn good. IMO, though, Mazzone is their true star. It doesn't seem to matter what pitchers they sign, they all seem to have more success in Atlanta than anywhere else. Heck, they got a great season out of John Burkett. Recently, look at the success of Chris Hammond and Jaret Wright -- two guys all but given up for dead by everybody else.
My real fear as a Phils phan is that Millwood will find his way back to Atlanta on the cheap and see his ERA fall by a run and a half.
