This is, in my opinion, the crux of this whole thing. The "study" or "survey," depending on what methodology was used, has more to do with design than interpretation, and when you factor in both, you can really make any survey say anything you want.

Where is the confidence raitng for this survey? Is it quantative only anbd, if so, exactly how were respondents instructed to rate items, and what items?

Nope, the article is both pointless and meaningless and, even if they have actually stumbled across something that is interesting and should be followed-up on, this report should never be the basis of anything in terms of consensus or decision-making.
