The Most Serene Republic of Nefiria is a tiny, socially progressive nation, remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-working, intelligent population of 5 million enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

The small government devotes most of its attentions to Social Welfare, with areas such as Law & Order and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 9%. A robust private sector is led by the Furniture Restoration, Automobile Manufacturing, and Retail industries.

Crime is a problem, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Nefiria's national animal is the human and its currency is the euro dollar.
