Can't really go wrong with a solitaire necklace, maybe silver or platinum. Just make sure you go to a reputable store, someplace that specializes in jewelry would be best. Huge retailers are probably not the best idea, you never know whats real there. Even when its labeled real gold it could just be plate, or "diamond" could mean "looks like a diamond"
