Anyone see the musical "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying"? There's a scene where the boss is on the phone arguing with his wife, then slams the phone down. He hits the intercom for his secretary, and says "Ms. Jones! Where's my... (you know)..."
"I put it in your right-hand bottom drawer."
"Thanks." He reaches in, pulls out a half-knitted item, begins knitting, leans back in his chair and relaxes. "Aaahhhhhh."
We performed this show in high school. During the first props rehearsal, as the last line is read, the director stops us and says "Matt, next time through, raise your hands above the desk."
