I snore too though less than I used to. Losing weight definately helps. I too lost 50 pounds and it GREATLY decreased my snoring. Now I use the nose strips and a spray that you spray on the the back of your throat before you go to sleep. My wife says I still snore a bit but not as often and not as loud. Sleeping on your back will exacerbate the problem as well. Sleeping on your side is supposed to be the best for it.
