Well, it might help you understand my predicament if you read my thread,
Weird cheap video card quirk. If your mouse has to traverse that much realestate, you need it to be fast! Remember, I'm trying to simulate moving the mouse pointer without having to move my hand... If you do it, yourself, it will be weird at first (correcting and over-correcting yourself) but (like FPSs), with a little practice, you'll get good at it!
To tell you the truth, it was a gradual thing. Start off with something just a little bit more sensitive than you're used to and, eventually, you get used to it. Then, you increase it one notch more (literally), and use that until you get used to it, etc... But now that Microsoft has lowered their mouse sensitivities, I feel like I'll develop carpal tunnel syndrome using this thing...
