I've always thought it was hard to name pets - you have to see their personality and then thing of something and run with it.
Personally I like historical names, our first cat is named Jefferson and the second was named Meriweather - which is fitting because of the Jefferson/Meriweather-Lewis expedition.
Good german names:
Helmut
Mercedes
Wolfgang
Rocky
Otto
Oskar
I've also heard 2 syllable names are good for pets because it is easier for them to understand.
