The first derivative graph will be positive wherever the slope of function f is positive. Always, unless there's some exception I haven't learned.

The second derivative graph will be positive wherever the 1st deriv is pos.

To identify the second derivative, I'd say try to find the "simpler" graph.

I'd explain better, but I'm out the door.
