very true... but it's not as easy as one thinks. There are lots of people who've moved from Tivo to that and just moved back.
here's my take on it...
When Tivo breaks...wife says,"It's broken! We have to buy a new one..."
When MythTV breaks... wife says,"It's broken! You have to fix it..."
I'd rather not be responsible for yet another PC on my home network.. already have waaay too many things to keep running.
