"Abunaku..." Shoan spoke softly to himself. In his mind's eye, he saw desolate villages with people starving and destitute fighting amongst themselves for the meager scraps of food they had left. He saw children left homeless, wandering the lands with empty stomaches and souls. He shuddered briefly and looked up at Enzeru.
"I'll help you, but it's got nothing to do with loving Emperor or country. I'm just siding with the lesser of two evils, but I have a condition. I want the sentence removed from the heads of all of my men as well."
