Final Fantasy 3, then tactics, then IX.
Seven is great, but I just really didn't like many of the characters. Three has so many it's hard not to find one you like. Nine sucked me in. Gotta love the amount of cut scenes in Tactics when someone stabbed and betrayed someone else.
