Word. After re-installing whatever Bit Torrent client you're using, you should use the client's built-in file association check, if so equipped, and/or change the file association type for *.torrent extensions to whatever Bit Torrent client your using. For instance on XP, open My Computer, click Tools, select Folder Options, then choose the File Types tab. Here, you will need to scroll down and find the *.torrent extension (in alphabetical order). Click on *.torrent, click the Change button, browse to your Bit Torrent client's executable, check the box that says "always use the selected program to open this kind of file", and click Ok, and click OK again. Now, when you click on a *.torrent file, it should have the association to be opened with your Bit Torrent client. Hope this helps.
