To be candid, I don't know.
l've been listening to the radio less and less over the past few years because I find much of the contemporary music god-awful (not all of it, mind you, but much). So I don't know if they've had a recent hit or not. For their sake, I
hope they've had a hit.
They deserve it.
The band has been around for a long time...twenty years.
Note: correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand 54*40 has gone over to their own indie label now after their ten-year contract with Warner expired. A good move, I say. They have a very loyal fan base. I expect they'll do well with this new venture.
One more band to add to the list:
Doug & the Slugs. (These guys are still active, I think).
