Nonetheless, I was having sex at 16 with my girlfriend, though she was the same age, and nothing bad came of it because we were both mature enough to be informed and took precautions to keep from having her get pregnant. I think it's pretty naïve to say that all, or even most, 16 year olds are too immature to have sex, though I agree with you,at least in part, about this particular case. But sex isn't something that is in the realm of adulthood anymore, if it ever was, no matter how much you think it should be. The times, they are a-changin'.
