OxyContin Q&A
My Mother-in-Law was on this pill, 60 milligrams or something, 4 times a day, everyday! This is a pill that had to be written out on a specific kind of Rx pad, because it is a narcotic. She was quite addicted to this drug, and without it could hardly get out of bed. She was diabetic, and I have no doubt that they helped, but I also wouldn't be suprised if she used a few extra here and there for a little 'umph'. She, come to find out, also used to 'sell and/or trade' them to one of her friends for milk and cash (she couldn't get out of the house alone because of her disease) and this lady would bring it over to her house.
She (m-i-l) passed away last July, and a few friends and myself went through the house and dumped every pill bottle and sample packet we could find, before the long lost relatives came over and seen how many pills she lived off of, or her friends came over and started raiding her 'leftovers'. Some even asked about where they were cuz they wanted some...
Anyhow, this drug screwed up more then one of her friends in the sense that it was so strong, and unlike anything they have ever 'dealt' with before, they got sick and quite uncomfortable..and they were used to all kinds of other choice drugs

. It really sucks people have to stoop so low as to rob pharmacies with guns for a pill smaller then an Altoid and get paid double for it...It's gonna suck for those people who really need something like that to survive the pain and have at least a bit of a life.
