I'm actually hoping for this too. I've been thinking ever since MGS3 was unveiled that it'd be so awesome for the game to start out in the 1960's with Big Boss and then towards the end switch to present day to conclude MGS2. Like you said: with Kojima running the show, it's a possibility. I'd like to play as Solid Snake one last time before the series ends!
