i don't think this fits the barney frank rule. those votes were questions of political disagreement...this outing was not in response to a witch hunt. if someone outed me for as spurious of reasons...i'd take it awfully personally.
at the core...outing is using your own idenity as an insult. i don't think it's right, i don't think it's sucessful, either.
