Thai "brown sauce" recipe
I'm looking for anyone else's suggestions. As for mine...
Kikkoman Soy Sauce
fish sauce (or oyster sauce)
brown sugar
ground cayenne pepper
Mix equal parts soy sauce and fish sauce. add in a few dashes of cayenne (to taste for heat) and the stir in granulated brown sugar to taste. Remember, when sampling this sauce, it'll be less salty after cooking. This closely mimics brown sauces at some of my favorite thai restaurants.
