I don't believe in anything "paranormal". Simply because I haven't encountered anything in my life that falls into that catagory. I haven't seen a ghost, or a ufo, or any other otherworldly thing. I try to keep an open mind, and I refuse to disbelieve in "impossible" things, but I also think that we (all people) are of limted perception and intelligence; therefore we create connections and theorys without reasonable basis. And just to be an equal opportunity offeneder I believe this applies to religions as much as myths. I believe the world is simpler than we would like it to be to maintain our self-delusions.
