For me, period sex isn't as good. He doesn't touch me the same way because he doesn't want to get his fingers bloody and without that it's just not as good. I don't think the blood bothers him, it's more that if he gets it on his fingers then he'll get it everywhere. I don't really like the messiness, either.
As for the redwings thing- I've never heard of that before but I can't imagine him wanting to do that. He really likes going down, so I give him the all clear so he doesn't encounter any anomalies! Guess those people are the ones who like chunky soup, too!
