The 'Taoist Sex' is about Qi Gong and isn't really a condoned practice since it can work against the goal of enlightenment and can be selfish; the act is meant to balance the various amounts of yin and yang between two people not steal their Qi. Although, I'm sure the practice was pretty popular in early Chinese/Indian societies - I do know of several events in which monks were asked to teach men certain Qi Gong practices so they could obtain immortality by sleeping with virgin women.
