Sounds like a great reason to stop watching TV.
I work with several people who don't own TVs any longer and they are some of the most centered, active, happy and healthy people I've ever met. And their kids are quite intelligent and are excelling at school and/or in their home school situations. Interesting premise. For entertainment they either read books, make crafts, ride their bikes, use their kayaks, visit museums, go to dance lessons, karate lessons, etc. They all said they wanted to be free from the advertisement 'hypology' that permeates commercial TV. Just a tangent I felt a need to share.
