Yeah, if you let your hair get any longer than usual, you have to use the long-hair trimmer first until it's stubble, then use the regular part. In most electric razors, if you go too fast, it'll get clogged up like a lawnmower and try to pull your hair out (ouch). They definitely require a different technique than that of regular razors. I personally can never get a close shave with shaving cream and razors...even after I'm done there's still stubble there. Electric razors always get everything including the stubble for me!
