Nope, Coverdale added Vai for the next album, "Slip of the Tounge"
The guitarist I was looking for was Adrian Vandenberg. He did most of the solo's on "Whitesnake" and even toured with them, because Coverdale had fired the rest of the band that had played in the studio on that album.
New one, should be easy.
This artist has worked with many other artists, including Mick Ronson, John Lennon, Mick Jagger, Brian Eno, Stevie Ray Vaughn and members of Chic. His bands include Tin Machine, Spiders, Feathers, The Lower Third and The Buzz.
