I believe that the human mind is a powerful thing, and if someone wants to believe something enough, to them, it will happen: ghosts, esp, faith/god, witchcraft, spells, satanism, ouija, etc.. I personally don't believe in any of these things. I don't completely discredit the fact that they MIGHT exist, but they really do seem like trivial figments of the human mind.
However, one night I was staring out of the door leading out to my deck around 1 or 2 AM and noticed a faint glowing object hovering in the sky. As I squinted my eyes to try and see what it was, I noticed the light getting stronger.. then dimmer.. then stronger. I thought to myself, "Holy SHIT, what is that?!?" 20 minutes later, I went back, same glow, everything.
...until I realized I left my laptop open and unplugged on the floor, and the glass of my dining room table was reflecting the light at such an angle onto the glass of the sliding door leading out to my deck that it appeared to be some kind of object in the sky. The entire time I was gawking at a f'n laptop LED. That's my only encounter with UFOs or anything paranormal.
